UNCTAD 14 is the next step on the road to fulfilling the promise of landmark agreements made in Addis Ababa (Financing for Development) and New York (Sustainable Development Goals).
Taken together, these agreements feed into the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
The key role played by UNCTAD was strengthened in the Addis Ababa Action Agenda, the plan to help developing countries find or generate sources of funding to meet the Sustainable Development Goals.
UNCTAD 14 in Nairobi is the place where participants can take action to bring prosperity to all, dignity to all and a better planet for all.
Participants will start to translate the commitments of the 2030 Agenda into a fair and balanced global system that advances lasting change.
